The US Men’s National Team defeated Mexico 3-0 on Thursday 6/16/2023. The US Men’s National Team dominated Mexico on Thursday in front of a sellout crowd of 65,000 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The game was intense and fast-paced. Forward and captain Christian Pulisic scored twice within 10 minutes on both sides of the halftime break and Ricardo Pepi added another to help the USMNT advance to its fifth straight regional Final. The U.S. showed no signs of changing its style of play, pressing high early and keeping possession for most of the first half. Pulisic had a great chance after 20 minutes when he sped by a defender on the left side and rounded Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa. However, his shot sailed high as two defenders were in position on the goalmouth.
